gabon president unveils the vocational education project

On April 9, the completion and unveiling ceremony of the capital campus of three vocational education centers newly constructed in Gabon, which was approved by the Ministry of Commerce of China, and provided with the preferential buyer's credit by the Export-Import Bank of China, and constructed by the AVIC INTL, was successfully held. Gabonese president, H.E. Ali-Ben Bongo, accompanied by more than 10 government dignitaries including Premier Osuka, Minister of State for Information Mbembu, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mubele, Minister of Public Service Bell, attended the event and unveiled the campus. Chinese ambassador to Gabon Hu Changchun, and Commercial Counselor Wei Shengzi were invited to attend.

This project is an important project that AVIC INTL upholds the original intention of "beyond business to create a better world jointly", actively responds to the Chinese government's "One Belt One Road" initiative, and combines with the Gabon's 2025 national strategic vision "New Gabon Strategic Plan", and is a vivid practice of the Chinese wisdom of "teaching people to fish".

In the future, the education and training centers will be based on the local demands of Gabon and help its diversified economic development. In addition, the project also bring Gabon with 12 professional courses including aviation services, mechanical processing, computer maintenance, which can provide training for 3000 full-time and 3600 short-term local students every year. At present, the training center has begun to recruit students locally. AVIC INTL will continue to provide the operational support for the schools and courses.
